NBA Nationals' Rules & Policies All parents and players are expected to agree with the following guidelines before you join! Player Policy Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Players will never throw equipment. All equipment will be kept clean and organized. Players will hustle at all times. Shirts will be tucked in at all times. Hats and Uniforms will be kept clean. Tardiness will not be tolerated. Disruptive behavior at home or school will be penalized on the field. Parent Policy Parents are not allowed in the dugout at any time during practice or games. Parents are not allowed on the field at any time during practice or games. Parents are not allowed to coach their children at any time during practice or games. Badgering or yelling at officials will not be tolerated. Please direct all opinions, comments or concerns directly with NBA Staff. Negative distractions will directly effect your child's involvement with NBA. Practice Policy Players are required to attend at least 75% of all practices. Failure to comply with this standard will result in dismissal from our program. Communication Policy Players are asked to communicate directly with their coach. Parents, please allow sufficient notice if your son will be unable to attend a scheduled practice or event. Playing Time Policy There will not be a set requirement for playing time. Players will earn their spot in the lineup with ability, participation, and development. Travel Policy Travel and accommodations will be the player's responsibility. Participation Policy Players will participate in several community events throughout the year. All players will be required to attend. Fundraising Policy Players will have fundraising opportunities to help offset their player fees. Panhandling of any kind is prohibited.
